I was so excited when Mary called to ask about an in-home lifestyle session for her sweet kiddos. I absolutely love photographing kids in their home – carefree, comfortable, natural. We played outside, we played inside. They showed me their favourite games and their silliest tricks. We laughed and explored and it was such a joy to capture it all. Here are my favourites from our session!
This is up a bit late since we were away on a little cottage vacation last week!
52 Portraits | Week 33
During this year’s cottage holiday, you tasted s’mores for the very first time, and it was love at first bite.
52 Portraits | Week 32
When you found out you were going to be a big sister, you first checked to see if the baby had toys in my belly, then told us, beaming, about all the things you would teach the baby. I know you will be an amazing big sister.
52 Portraits | Week 31
Thank you for reminding me daily that life’s greatest joys come from its simplest pleasures, like running to the garden every morning to eat cherry tomatoes right off the plant.
Lauren and Ryan got married at Oakwood Resort in Grand Bend a few weeks ago, and it was an unbelievably beautiful and perfect day. Gorgeous weather, an outdoor ceremony with a breathtaking view, smiles all around, and not one but two scheduled couple portrait sessions on the beach(one at sunset, my favourite!). Everything and everyone was flawless and happy! Just wait until you see the stunning florals and decor (major props to Village Vines Floral & Event Design and Amy from Unmistakably You for their amazing work), and the incredible buffet we were treated to. Lauren and Ryan, thank you for the honour of capturing your special day. Wishing you nothing but the best as you start this new journey together!
Big thanks to Laura Purdy for second shooting and assisting!
