This wedding was such a treat for me – my first city hall ceremony followed by an hour spent exploring the streets of downtown Cambridge, from back alleys to the coolest coffee shop. Short and sweet and so much fun with this adorable and kind couple. Here’s a glimpse of Victoria and Dan’s special day!
It was such a pleasure to finally meet Shannon, a talented photographer, and her gorgeous family. The weather was perfect and the beach was quiet. We played, we laughed, we posed a bit and played some more. Snuggles and smiles and sillies. My favourite kind of session. I’m so happy to finally be blogging the candid images full of sweetness – Here are my (many) favourites!
Everything happens for a reason – including multiple reschedules that bumped Ryan and Deanna’s engagement session date into the Fall and led us to change the location to Apple Land. I’m SO glad we were able to shoot on these grounds. Between the pumpkin patch, apple orchard, corn maze and woodsy treasures, it was the perfect spot for an engagement session. These two are totally adorable and so much fun to photograph, and I am so looking forward to their 2015 wedding!

Whether it’s setting the table, putting dishes in the dishwasher, peeling carrots or sorting recycling, I’m constantly amazed by your enthusiasm and ability to genuinely help, and by how quickly you are growing up.

Today you made me smile when you put a stuffed bear under your shirt and said: “I have a baby in my belly, put your hand here to feel it kick! You’re going to be such a great big sister to this cute little baby.”
For their engagement session, Suzanne and Joel gave me a tour of the locations for their backyard wedding ceremony and barn reception, giving me a sneak peek of the beautiful grounds and the gorgeous light we would have to work with. With a crazy (and I mean CRAZY) rain storm the day before, they were blessed with a perfect sunny day. I absolutely loved photographing these two – such a sweet, easy going and friendly couple whose love of life and each other is contagious! Here are some favourites from their special day.
It’s been such a pleasure to get to know Emily and Josh over the past year and a half. They are both the sweetest, nicest people, and it goes without saying that they make a perfect couple! I had the honour of photographing Emily’s family first, then their stunning sunset engagement session, and finally their beautiful August wedding this past Summer. I loved so much about this wedding day – from Emily’s gorgeous dress to the stunning outdoor locations we explored for their portraits to the beautifully decorated barn for their reception. Here are some favourites from this special day!
When Christina asked if there was anything I’d been wanting to shoot, I gave her a few ideas off my “photography bucket list” for her e-session with Justin and was thrilled when they opted to use the Western Fair carnival as their location. We had so much fun trying out rides, tasting treats, playing games and winning prizes (by the way guys, my little girl still adores the little orange bear you won for her!), and it was the perfect setting to capture some fun, candid, romantic moments with this adorable couple. I simply cannot wait for their 2015 wedding! Here are my favourites from our shoot!
