Bookings will be handled on a first come, first serve basis, which is why it’s a good idea to book as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. Last minute bookings are sometimes possible, and I will do everything I can to accommodate your timeline. This may include referring you to another trusted photographer if needed.
When you book your session, you will be provided with any information you may need or request along with a questionnaire that will help me better meet your photography needs. If you would like to meet in person before the session date, I am happy to do so.
Payment for photography sessions (weddings excluded) can be made by cash or cheque on the date of the photography session or through email money transfer no later than the day before the photography session.
Weddings and similar special events that require a typical full day booked require a 50% non-refundable down payment a minimum of one month in advance, prior to the wedding date. In the event of a cancellation within a reasonable time frame, as outlined below, the down payment may be partially or fully refunded.
Cancellations & Re-bookings
In general, most cancellations at least 48 hours prior to the previously booked time will be accommodated. Please note the following specific matters regarding cancellations:
- Photography sessions (weddings excluded) may be cancelled by the photographer in cases of serious illness or family emergency. In such cases, a make-up session will be offered at a 15% discount.
- In cases of extreme weather, outdoor photography sessions (weddings excluded) may be cancelled by the photographer. In such cases, clients will have the option of relocating to an indoor location. Otherwise, a make-up session will be offered.
- Cancellations for weddings must be done at least one month in advance to avoid any cancellation fees.
- Wedding cancellations between 1 and 4 weeks prior to the wedding date are subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
- Wedding cancellations as above that are less than 1 week prior to the wedding date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee (covered by the down payment).
In general, I am very flexible and understanding about cancellations and re-bookings, and will do whatever possible to satisfy any reasonable requests.
