London Ontario Couple Photographer | Alex and Laura's Downtown Engagement Session

I loved meeting Alex and Laura for their downtown Winter engagement session. We checked out some of my favourite downtown photo locations and headed by the water to catch those last rays of warm golden hour light. They brought their adorable pup along with them, which is always a big BONUS in my books! I often get asked if couples and families can bring furry family members along for their session, and the answer is always YES! I adore animals and am a big dog person, so by all means, bring your pet along with you! :) Here are a few favourites from their downtown London engagement session. (PS: It was COLD! Laura was such a trooper wearing that gorgeous sleeveless dress!)

London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Michelle and Rob's Winter Engagement Session

I absolutely loved Michelle and Rob’s Winter engagement session. We started by exploring the grounds at Western University and eventually made our way to Komoka Provincial Park (Michelle and Rob picked up their adorable pup on the way). Golden hour was in full force, and the combination of the snow, the sun and Michelle and Rob’s sweet connection was a photographer’s dream come true. I was so hoping for snow for Jane and Matt’s family farm engagement session, and Mother Nature definitely delivered. The flurries added so much charm to this shoot, and I absolutely love the extra snowy shots. Their shoot was featured in Hitched Magazine’s Winter 2019 issue, and I am so happy to be sharing it on the blog today.

What better to blog during an ice storm than a fun Winter engagement session? It was a chilly one for Tracy and Dustin's shoot, but they were up for anything and we had a blast exploring frozen ponds and snow covered woods. Here are a few favourites! 

London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Jen & Blake's Goderich Winter Engagement Session

I love engagement sessions because the sky is the limit in terms of where and what. We could be out in the woods, downtown, by the water, doing your favourite activity, you name it. Jen and Blake's engagement session in Goderich awhile back was extra fun because it combined so many of my favourite location ideas - a rustic barn? Check! A charming cafe? Check! A beautiful bridge? Check! Photos on the beach? Check! It was freezing cold, but we didn't let that stop us from checking off all of the amazing locations that Jen and Bake had planned, and we had a blast capturing these two together before their big day.
