I loved documenting Erin and Tyler’s Civic Gardens micro-wedding. From the intimate ceremony on the terrace to the golden hour photos around Springbank Park, this day was absolutely perfect. Perhaps my favourite detail was the hilarious family inside joke that found its way into their wedding, prompting each guest to wear the Groucho Marx glasses that had been left on their seat. I don’t think I’ve ever heard so much laughter during a ceremony! Here are some favourites from this beautiful day.
I absolutely loved this day. Ashley and Andrew planned an intimate, personalized, hometown wedding in Erieau, Ontario. From their outdoor ceremony—officiated by a dear friend, with Lake Erie in the distance—to their candid, relaxed wedding party photos, beers in hand, to their cozy reception held in Ashley’s parents’ restaurant, to the couple’s impressive first dance and the live music that ended the evening, it was a day full of laughter and personal touches that was a privilege to document. RiverBend Golf Community was the perfect venue for Kirsten and Rich’s intimate wedding celebration, from the charming garden courtyard to the bright reception room with gorgeous views of the golf course. They brought their love for outdoor adventuring to their DIY decor, integrating postcards with art depicting landmarks from the Canadian Rockies that are meaningful to them, with personal messages on the back for each of their guests. I loved documenting this special day!
I loved working with Cassandra and Bryan. We started things off at the beautiful Civic Gardens grounds, which provided a stunning background for Cassandra and Bryan’s first look and couple and family portraits. It was so hot on this day, and the sun was relentless, but you’d never know it by everyone’s relaxed smiles! The Springs Restaurant in London, Ontario was the perfect venue for their intimate micro-wedding, and as usual, Springhill Flowers did a fantastic job with the floral arrangements. Laurel and Ariel had a charming micro-wedding on a windy April day and set aside a window of time to sneak out to the field, just the two of them, for some intimate wedding photos. I love a good windswept hair/veil moment, and this shoot was full of them. Here are some favourites!
I absolutely loved getting to know Rob & Michelle and documenting their gorgeous wedding at West Haven Golf. They were such a joy to work with, and I have such fond memories from this beautiful day. It was so much fun to look back through these images - here are some favourites!

I cannot even begin to express how much I loved being a part of this day. As part of the amazing HRM Photography Team, Niki is both a pal and an industry colleague, and it was such a huge honour to be asked to photograph her wedding while her HRM family attended as guests. Niki and Tim are so much fun to work with, and their wedding was one for the books. From their early morning outdoor Hindu ceremony (an exciting first for me!) to their indoor reception (complete with an outfit change!) - all on the beautiful Pioneer Village grounds - the whole day was a dream. I have such great memories from this day, and lucky me, it was featured in the Fall/Winter 2019 print edition of The Wedding Ring, so I can flip through the magazine and reminisce whenever I like! I absolutely loved working with Jennifer and Ryder. Their engagement session fell on a gorgeous late Summer day. We started with a wooded trail walk and enjoyed the sun shining through the trees, and eventually headed to the beach for some sunset snuggles. If you’ve never enjoyed a wine bottle for two on a beach log at sunset, these two sure made it look like the perfect romantic date idea! What better way to end the night than with a sunset beach silhouette shot. Here are a few favourites from their Grand Bend engagement session!
I absolutely loved working with this sweet couple. They just exude kindness, and their entire day was filled with joy and laughter. Their wedding took place on a beautiful farm property, with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour surrounded by trees and overlooking the pond, followed by a stunning barn reception. We took their engagement photos on this same property, but during the Winter and in the middle of a blizzard! As a result, these two have two totally different sets of images from the same meaningful place. I have such happy memories from this cheerful, laid bak day - here are some favourites!
