I came home from this session with serious baby fever! There was just something about sweet Stella that reminded me SO much of my Neve when she was a newborn. I so enjoyed photographing this lovely family at home with their new little bundle. Here are my favourites from our lifestyle session!
London Ontario Family Photography | The Bartlett Family's Snowy Session
This very snowy "Spring" Tuesday seems like a fitting day to post this family session, which just so happened to take place during a minor blizzard! It was snowing so hard the day I headed to Elsie Perrin Williams Estate with the Bartlett family, but everyone embraced it and had a blast. I laughed from start to finish with this sweet, fun-loving family. Here's a peek at our snowy session!

It's hard to believe that just a few months prior to this session, I was shooting little Emma's newborn lifestyle session. What fun to see how much she's already grown, and to see her little personality shining through! She's such a beautiful little girl! It was so cold the day of this session, and sadly our attempt at an outdoor component just didn't work out. But that's ok, because we were able to capture so many sweet moments between Emma and her parents inside their warm and cozy home. You can just feel the love that these three have for each other, and I love being able to capture that! Here are some favourites from this session!
London Ontario Newborn Lifestyle Photographer | Baby Mila
I loved this session so, so much. First of all, I adore Mallory and her beautiful family. They've been in front of my lens before, and you may remember the gorgeous Mal from the Project Ten session she helped me with awhile ago (she had just found out she was pregnant with Mila!).
Second of all, their home is flooded with the most delicious natural light. And you all know how much I love my natural light. : )
But most of all, what I love love loved about this session (and lifestyle sessions in general) is how real life just kept going. There was baking, there was snuggling, there was toddler cookie smuggling, newborn baby soothing, playing tea party on the floor and eating lunch in the kitchen. One of my favourite series of shots from this session is the comparison between dad quietly dressing baby in the nursery and mom wrangling her wild toddler to try and get some clothes on her before she runs away. Real life. : ) Of course as with all newborn lifestyle sessions, there's a big focus on baby alone in addition to the family moments, and sweet Mila got her moment in the spotlight. She was wide awake (though Mallory texted me a photo of her passed out just a few minutes after I left, of course!), but cute as a button. I hope the Kucharski family treasures these images for years to come. Here are some favourites from our session!
London Ontario Family Photographer | The Papineau Family
Back when I was first building my portfolio, Genevieve and I were connected by a mutual friend and I had the pleasure of photographing her family. Now years later, I was thrilled to have them in front of my lens again. It was pretty cold out the day of this session, but we still had a blast exploring an old railroad trail and capturing some memories! Here are some favourites from our session!
London Ontario Family Lifestyle Photographer | The Vickers Family's In-Home Session
I love in-home lifestyle sessions. Of course, I love exploring a field at sunset and splashing around on a breezy beach and snuggling in the woods in the middle of Winter, too. But I have a special place in my heart for in-home sessions, because they are just so real. Kids are almost always more comfortable in their own home, and not only do we capture some more typical family portraits, but we also get to capture a glimpse of your everyday. My hope is that families look back on their in-home session photos as a photographic record of their life at that time. A little snippet of reality that will soon fade as baby turns into toddler, and toddler turns into preschooler, and before you know it your house is full of teenagers. The Vickers Family invited me into their home to capture them doing life together - everything from playing on the living room floor to eating lunch. I loved my time with them and I'm excited to share some favourites from our session! -xo
London Ontario Family Photography | The Vanderheyden Family
I first met Tiffany, Rob and Arie when I took some newborn lifestyle photos for them last year. What a pleasure it was to photograph them again and see how little Arie has grown! We met in the woods on a chilly Fall day and had a blast playing in the leaves. Here are some favourites from our session!
London Ontario Family Photography | The Giles Family
I had the pleasure of meeting the Giles family for the first time this past Fall. I love that we were able to document the special interactions between the parents together, the children together, and each parent with each child individually. Capturing the unique relationships within a family is one of my favourite things to do! Here are some of my favourites.
Family Photographer in London Ontario | The Roselle Family
This is the second year I have the pleasure of photographing the Roselles, and this year there was a new addition to their lovely family! I just loved the relaxed, carefree feel of this session. We were really able to capture the girls' little personalities, which is always my goal when photographing children. Here are a few favourites from our Fall session!
London Ontario Family Photographer | The Shipley Family
I first photographed the Shipleys during my Mother's Day Minis a few years ago and was thrilled to have them in front of my lens again. It's always really special when grandparents come along, too. We had a great time exploring the grounds at Elsie Perrin Williams Estate. Have a peek at my favourites from our session!
