London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Jess & Phil

When I met Phil and Jess on the evening of their engagement session, I knew without a doubt that their wedding would be stylish and fun. It was that and more - with flawless attention to detail, a ridiculously beautiful couple (who looked pretty fantastic in their wedding attire, might I add!), a hilarious (and gi-gan-tic) wedding party and sweet, fun-loving family members and guests - everything was perfect. Oh, and did I mention the food? The food was delicious. The thunderstorm that threatened to mess with their outdoor plans all day only showed up once everyone was safely seated in the reception tent, and only stuck around for about 15 minutes (happy dance!). The one downer was the heat (35-ish degrees celsius with humidex, oy!), but everyone was in such good spirits that it simply didn't matter. Phil and Jess, you guys were a pleasure to work with, and I wish you nothing but the very best as you embark on this new journey together. Enjoy this sneak peek from your very beautiful wedding day. -xo p.s.: Big shout out to my fabulous, talented and fun second shooter, Laura! xo

Jess had a special request to showcase everyone in her 17-person bridal party - a Brady Bunch inspired headshot collage. How fun!

Port Stanley Ontario Engagement Photographer | Kristi and Grant

After being rained out twice, it was such a relief when this beautiful sunny evening finally presented itself for Kristi and Grant's Port Stanley Beach engagement session. This pair is so fun and adorable, and I just can't wait to photograph their wedding this Summer. Thanks guys for being such good sports and dancing away on the beach for me - I hope you'll love these photos as much as I do! xo

London Ontario Wedding Photography | Nick and Johanna

I've known Johanna for a long time, since her brother married my sister 18ish years ago. I was so honoured to be asked to photograph her lovely Northern wedding, alllllll the way in Timmins, Ontario. It was ridiculously cold, and sadly our outdoor portraits were cut short (I think we may have lasted 10 minutes!), but I'm so glad we went for it. I just love the frozen lake as the backdrop for this sweet couple! Congratulations, Nick and Johanna, I wish you all the best in your new life together! xo

London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Rachel and Jason

Since launching Raw Footage Photography, I've specialized in lifestyle family photography, but have always taken on a handful of weddings every year, and I've always loved them. I've decided to open up my calendar to take on more weddings this year, and am SO excited about expanding my business in this direction. When my lovely friend Natalie Young of Mint Photography asked me to second shoot this beautiful November wedding with her, I was thrilled. She normally shoots with her husband Ron, but he was exceptionally unavailable. Which meant I got to spend the day with a talented friend, a gorgeous couple, and add some shots from a fabulously styled wedding to my portfolio. Win-Win-Win (fist pump!).

You can see my take on Rachel and Jason's beautiful wedding day below (You'll notice I hung out with the groom, hence the lack of pre-wedding bride shots!), and then do yourself a favour and check out the all the amazingness on Natalie's blog here.

London Ontario Wedding Photography | Will and Melissa

One of my favourite things about photographing a wedding is capturing all of the little details that the bride and groom spent hours planning and perfecting, and I knew from peeking on Melissa and Will's wedding blog that this wedding would be overflowing with creative details. With a bright colour scheme pulled from the delightful fabric that appeared everywhere from the aisle runner to the handmade napkins, this event oozed cheerfulness. Not a single detail was overlooked, and the entire event was cool, creative and completely unique. Felt flowers. Mason jar juice bar. Paint by number guest book. Need I say more? And we haven't even mentioned the wedding party's footwear. While the guys looked snazzy in their converse shoes, the girls sported bright red TOMS. Will and Melissa definitely found a way to inject fun and personality into every part of the day, and you could tell that everyone present was having a great time, myself included. Here are a few of my favourite shots from the day.

London Ontario Wedding Photography | Tina and Jon

Tina was so hoping for snow in time for her late November wedding, and while we did get a small sprinkling early that morning, there wasn't much left by midday. That being said, we didn't need snow for it to be a perfect, beautiful Christmas-themed wedding. Everything was just right, from the twinkling lights to the winter shawls to the stark November woods that provided such a stunning contrast to the brilliant whites and reds of the wedding party. While the weather was certainly frightful (but who am I to talk, just ask the girls in the gowns and heels), it was a wonderful wedding from start to finish. Here are a few photos from our day.
