I headed to Ilderton to photograph this fun couple in the woods behind their home, along with their adorable dog. We explored the trail left by an abandoned railway and then walked over to the Ilderton Fair for a few fun photos to commemorate the place where these two lovebirds got engaged! Here's a peek at our session, so looking forward to their 2014 wedding!
London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Paulina and Nelio
Despite a bit of rain, it was such a beautiful day and Paulina was just glowing. It was obvious that everyone involved was over-the-mood excited for this sweet couple, and that makes my job all the more awesome.

I love how every wedding this year has been so wonderfully different and unique, each with its personality and style all its own. Danie and Tom's beautiful Hunt Club wedding was no exception. If I had to describe the wedding in two words, I would call it "simple elegance". I loved the girls' breathtaking vintage lace dresses and their simple yet stuffing florals... not to mention how the setting sun bathed the outdoor ceremony and cocktails in an ethereal glow. The mood of the day was so cheery and relaxed, and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph. Here are some favourites from this beautiful wedding.

Wedding Photographer in London Ontario | Kristi and Grant
This was such a happy day. Kristi was glowing, relaxed and so, so happy. I don't think she stopped smiling once during the entire day, and we all couldn't help but smile with her. Everything was perfect - from Grant's sweet, emotional reaction to Kristi entering the church, to the hilarious bridal party, the gorgeous reception location, the elegant details and to top it all off - the sun setting over a vineyard. Like I said, perfect. Kristi and Grant, it was such a huge honour and pleasure to photograph your day. Hope you love your photos! -xo

London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Amanda and Connor's Vow Renewal
I remember first meeting Amanda and Connor in a Starbucks and thinking to myself how adorable they were together. I'm so glad they gave me the honour of capturing their special backyard wedding, which was actually a vow renewal to celebrate their union that took place a year earlier. Their precious daughter Rosaleigh was as sweet as can be and everyone was so full of life, love and joy. With the exception of a freak 20 minute downpour once we were all safely seated in the reception tent (phew!), the weather held out for us and we got to go exploring around Port Stanley for some amazing couple and bridal party portraits. After one of the most amazing dance parties I have ever documented (for real, made me want to get my Macarena on!) we sealed the night with a spectacular lantern ceremony in the pitch black night. Here is a look at their very, very special day. Amanda and Connor, hope you love your photos as much as I do! -xo

London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Matt and Leena's Cambridge Mill Wedding
I just loved this wedding - simple, elegant, intimate, happy. A beautiful couple and breathtaking location didn't hurt, either! The Cambridge Mill is such a spectacular venue, because every room - from the bridal suite to the ceremony pavilion to the reception solarium - is surrounded by beautiful windows letting in delicious natural light. And the food! You guys, the food. I can't even put into words how amazing the food was. It was that good. Matt and Leena, thank you so much for having me be a part of your special day. I absolutely loved capturing the beautiful details of your wedding and so enjoyed getting to know you and your families! Big thanks as well to the fabulous Orsolya Gyorgy for second shooting with me! Enjoy the photos! -xo
London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Emily and Geoff's Engagement Session
When talking to Emily about her upcoming engagement session, she mentioned a few times that she really wanted her photos to be unique. And I have to say, these have got to be the most unique engagement photos I have ever taken... but not so much thanks to me, more so thanks to the crazy weather! We almost cancelled the session due to storm warnings and on and off rain all throughout the day, but because Emily and Geoff had come in to London from out of town, we decided to go for it. When we arrived at Fanshawe Conservation Area, the sun was beginning to dip down and we had beautiful rays of golden light for a few minutes before it started to rain. After the short rain showers, the sky went from grey to dark blue/black as billowy storm clouds rolled in from one direction, and the setting sun shone brightly in the other direction, turning the other half of the sky into a soft pink/orange painting. Right as the sun set, the entire sky turned bright orange, and then once the sun had officially gone down, the skies were clear and blue, with only a few fluffy white clouds in the distance. As I look at these photos in sequence, it's hard to believe that they were all taken on the same day, in the same location, within minutes of each other. I have always been adamant about never using artificial sky or cloud overlays in my photos, so rest assured that these are all real skies and real clouds... nature at its best! Hope you enjoy these very unique photos of a very beautiful couple. Emily and Geoff, I can't wait for your 2014 wedding!! -xo
London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Steve & Alison
One of my favourite things about wedding photography is that it allows me to witness, celebrate and document so many cultures and styles. This gorgeous day was no exception - A lovely wedding steeped in tradition and beautifully styled by the talented Jenna Tregenza Parties on a beautiful sunny Saturday in July.
Alison was just glowing, and every little detail was perfect. Here is a peek at their day!

London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Liana and Adam's Engagement Session
This ridiculously adorable couple travelled home to London for a visit from Cold Lake Alberta where they are currently posted with the Canadian Forces. When I told Liana about the sunrise session option, she did what almost no one else does - she went for it! Her exact words were: "As for the early start time, you only live once right? Why not start at 6:30am!" (Liana, I already liked you, but when I read those words, you officially won me over!) I, as most people know by know, am obsessed with that golden light that only comes out to play right before sunset and, yes, right after sunrise! The light, as you will see in the photos, did not disappoint! It was so wonderful to finally meet this gorgeous pair after so many back and forth emails. Watching them together is like one giant "aww" moment that never ends. You can just feel their love for each other in these photos. I had so much fun with these two, we laughed from start to finish, got completely soaked in the wet field and then finished it all off with a little Starbucks coffee date. Perfection! Hope you enjoy a peek at these photos Adam and Liana - and I can't WAIT for your 2014 wedding! -xo \
London Ontario Engagement and Wedding Photographer | Lauren and Ryan
Between the beautiful couple, the gorgeous Blackfriars Bridge location and the adorable vintage blue and pink bikes, this engagement session had all the ingredients to be amazing. We even got a few minutes of glorious sun peeking through the overcast sky, and like all of my clients, Lauren and Ryan quickly learned that I simply can't resist that delicious evening light! I had so much fun with these guys, swapping stories about our pups, laughing at overzealous photo-bombers and just enjoying the beautiful Summer evening. It's so easy to photograph a couple when they emanate love and happiness like these two do. Lauren and Ryan, I can't WAIT for your 2014 wedding! Hope you enjoy these photos! -xo
