London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Jennifer & Ryder's Grand Bend Engagement Session

I absolutely loved working with Jennifer and Ryder. Their engagement session fell on a gorgeous late Summer day. We started with a wooded trail walk and enjoyed the sun shining through the trees, and eventually headed to the beach for some sunset snuggles. If you’ve never enjoyed a wine bottle for two on a beach log at sunset, these two sure made it look like the perfect romantic date idea! What better way to end the night than with a sunset beach silhouette shot. Here are a few favourites from their Grand Bend engagement session!

London Ontario Family Photographer | Sunset Port Stanley Beach Family Session

I am so excited to share this beautiful sunset family session today. This shoot took place on a beautifully sunny, incredibly windy late Summer evening. There were actual wind warnings for the area, and the waves were unbelievably high. Nonetheless, after chatting about our options, we decided to go for it. And I am so glad we did. We mostly stayed away from the water’s edge to avoid the worst of the wind, and the beach was completely empty due to the weather conditions. The delicious golden hour light was to.die.for., and this gorgeous family put together the most beautiful outfits for their beach session. So many playful, snuggly candid moments. The whole shoot was a dream. Here are some favourites!

London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Niki & Tim's Downtown Engagement Session

I first met Niki years ago within the photography community here in London, ON, and she has become a dear friend that I have so much respect for. It was such a happy surprise when she asked me to photograph her wedding, and a huge honour (Niki’s super talented HRM Photography family would be attending as guests). She and Tim make an adorable couple and have such a kind, funny and down-to-earth dynamic. I loved getting to know them during their downtown engagement session. On this perfect sunny evening, we started out in Ivey Park for a more natural backdrop before exploring the nearby buildings, alleys and parking lots for a more urban look. This was such a fun engagement session and I am so happy to finally be sharing some favourites here on the blog!

London Ontario Headshot Photographer | Bree's Downtown Lifestyle Branding Session

The great thing about a lifestyle branding session is the ability to incorporate different outfits, locations, and styles in the same session. Bree even included her adorable family for a few photos before heading out to explore downtown with me. We grabbed coffee, found a back alley staircase and took a stroll on a sun-soaked bridge at golden hour, all in different outfits. We jumped between professional, playful and lifestyle approaches and the result was a gallery full of different photos that tell the story of who Bree is as a person, as a business owner, as a mama. I feel like her bubbly personality really shines through in these images, and I am so happy to finally be sharing some favourites here on the blog!

London Ontario Wedding Photographer | Michelle and Rob's Winter Engagement Session

I absolutely loved Michelle and Rob’s Winter engagement session. We started by exploring the grounds at Western University and eventually made our way to Komoka Provincial Park (Michelle and Rob picked up their adorable pup on the way). Golden hour was in full force, and the combination of the snow, the sun and Michelle and Rob’s sweet connection was a photographer’s dream come true. London Ontario Family Photographer | Fall Woods Minis

Fall Minis are officially open for booking, which means it’s time to look bak on last years Fall sessions in the woods. I don’t specifically plan my Fall minis around trees with changing leaves (They’re either way up high in a mature tree or on the ground, which means that anything other than a wide shot gives me a tree bark background - not my favourite ;) ). Instead I am a sucker for golden, overgrown grasses and Autumn wildflowers. I loves these sessions and cannot wait to be back in this same location for Fall Minis again this year.

Michelle is the talented photographer behind Michelle A Photography, and someone I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know while photographing 2 headshot sessions, her engagement session and her wedding! It’s been such an honour to help capture these important moments for Michelle over the last years. With her next headshot session coming up in a few weeks, it was definitely time to blog this fun branding shoot from 2017. If you know Michelle, you know she loves her adorable dog, Samson. I love that he was such a big part of this session - and I swear this dog actually smiles for the camera! We incorporated some other things Michelle loves - golden hour, iced coffee, and of course her camera - and included outfit and location changes around Wortley Village to ensure a gallery full of variety that Michelle could use on her website and social media as needed. I absolutely loved this lifestyle branding session, and am so happy to finally be sharing some favourites on the blog!

Sarah and Justin are just about the cutest couple you will ever meet. The way they look at each other, laugh together and even walk together (Justin has been known to bring Sarah’s hand up to kiss it while they are walking hand-in-hand) made my heart melt and my job so easy. I’m so happy to be sharing Chris and Christy’s beautiful West Haven Golf wedding. Christy was the maid of honour for one of my past brides, Lauren, and I was so delighted that Lauren was Christy’s matron of honour as well. It’s such a treat to bump into past wedding clients at weddings I’m shooting, and I am so thankful for the many generous referrals I’ve had over the years.
