This is my third chilly November engagement session post on the blog today! Once again, we didn’t let the chilly temperatures get us down. Samantha and Kiernan kept each other warm as we explored the Westminster Ponds woods - Here are some favourites!
I always love heading to Stratford for an engagement session - in any season. This session took place on a chilly November day, but Cassandra and Rick stayed warm and cozy as we strolled by the river and popped into Balzacs for a hot drink. Here are a few favourites!
After rescheduling their previous session due to rain and inching closer to Winter with each passing day, Karli and Aaron decided to go for it when their next engagement session date turned out to be a wet, gloomy and freezing cold day. Always up for an adventure, I joined them in Goderich and we braved the crashing waves and wind gusts together. These two are so much fun to work with, and despite the freezing temperature, they were all smiles, laughter and love. Here are some favourites!
I cannot even begin to express how much I loved being a part of this day. As part of the amazing HRM Photography Team, Niki is both a pal and an industry colleague, and it was such a huge honour to be asked to photograph her wedding while her HRM family attended as guests. Niki and Tim are so much fun to work with, and their wedding was one for the books. From their early morning outdoor Hindu ceremony (an exciting first for me!) to their indoor reception (complete with an outfit change!) - all on the beautiful Pioneer Village grounds - the whole day was a dream. I have such great memories from this day, and lucky me, it was featured in the Fall/Winter 2019 print edition of The Wedding Ring, so I can flip through the magazine and reminisce whenever I like! I absolutely loved working with Jennifer and Ryder. Their engagement session fell on a gorgeous late Summer day. We started with a wooded trail walk and enjoyed the sun shining through the trees, and eventually headed to the beach for some sunset snuggles. If you’ve never enjoyed a wine bottle for two on a beach log at sunset, these two sure made it look like the perfect romantic date idea! What better way to end the night than with a sunset beach silhouette shot. Here are a few favourites from their Grand Bend engagement session!
I absolutely loved working with this sweet couple. They just exude kindness, and their entire day was filled with joy and laughter. Their wedding took place on a beautiful farm property, with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour surrounded by trees and overlooking the pond, followed by a stunning barn reception. We took their engagement photos on this same property, but during the Winter and in the middle of a blizzard! As a result, these two have two totally different sets of images from the same meaningful place. I have such happy memories from this cheerful, laid bak day - here are some favourites!

What a dream it was to photograph this gorgeous styled shoot last Spring. Kassia from Kassia Tjia Events and Candice from Flora & Forage brought this amazing vision to life, and it was a joy to capture every stunning detail. What a fun-filled day this was! Backyard weddings are always a favourite for me, and Britney and Gavin’s beautiful Stratford backyard wedding was no exception. Gavin is from Australia, and I absolutely loved the fun touches of Australian culture throughout the wedding, ending in the ultimate Canadian/Australian midnight buffet (scroll down to the end to see!). When I think back on this day, one of the things that stands out the most is the amazing live band that had everyone on their feet dancing the night away. It was such a lively party and we had a blast documenting it all! These two are the sweetest and so down-to-earth, and it was a joy to capture this day for them. Here are some favourites!

This day stands out as one for the books. All of the details came together perfectly for Karlie and Zak’s beautiful Arlington Hotel wedding. Paris, Ontario is the most charming little town and made for a stunning backdrop for their wedding photos. The entire day was a dream, from their sweet first look in front of the Arlington Hotel entrance to the wild, vibrant party that closed off the evening. Here are some favourites!

I so enjoyed working with this beautiful couple (inside and out!). Their Grand Bend engagement session was split between the woods and the beach - essentially my two favourite outdoor places to shoot - on a gorgeous sun-soaked evening.
